Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actor from America. Her best-known role is Skyler White in Breaking Bad, an AMC Drama Breaking Bad, for which she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 as well as 2014 for Outstanding Supporting actress in a Drama Series. She has also played Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn began acting as an infant as a child in Sante Fe New Mexico. The family moved to Ohio in the United States, where she nurtured her interest in performing on stage. She studied theatre through Northwestern University and spent a period studying at the British American Drama Academy. Anna began her career working in the Chicago area theatres for a short time. After that, she switched to television and film. Anna got her first major part in the role of Arden when Down the Shore aired 29 episodes in the year 1992. In addition, she played in Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. In fact, it wasn't until the late 1990s when she was cast in the role of The Practice. In 2000, she was placed in Deadwood in the role of Martha Bullock for two full seasons. Skyler played Martha Bullock in Breaking Bad (2008). Sully as well as Deadwood were also the highlights of her career. Gunn played a role in the David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. She also had a role in the show Numbered Day, which is an audio-based podcast that consists of four audio-based plays. Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's relationship with Skyler. Walter White's life story and the strain on the relationship he has with Skyler are mirrored in the television show.
